Published two technical blogs on the ONECommunity practitioner blog — the Event Handlers post climbed to the third most-viewed within five months of publication — written for the corners of OneStream the public docs barely cover: the workflow event-handler lifecycle, and loading XML/JSON instead of just flat or delimited files.

Archetype runs a two-week apprenticeship — the Archetype OneStream Apprenticeship (AOA) Bootcamp — that takes someone entering the field with no OneStream background, often from a different industry, and gets them project-ready. Working with the team, I helped build the curriculum and design the end-to-end capstone, and I led the core hands-on sessions: loading data, building reports, and building dashboards.

Cut a heavy forecasting-plus-annotations report from ~20 minutes to under a minute — an FDX query pre-identifies which members actually hold data so the report skips OneStream's pull-everything-then-suppress overhead, and annotations are served from a cached globals object instead of round-tripping the database on every render.

Real-time OneStream–PDI integration over SIC

Connected OneStream to the client's PDI general ledger over SIC so trial balance, store attributes, and anything else could be pulled on demand instead of moved on a schedule — and made OneStream the authoritative home for per-store attributes, holding them as entity text properties backed by an audited table that a simple CSV upload keeps current.

Replaced manual CSV exports with a direct NetSuite ↔ OneStream connection over REST API — a connector business rule pulls the GL, an Extensibility rule automates it, and the task scheduler keeps it running so finance always works against the latest data.

Inforgl ↔ OneStream over REST, with a shared-script library

Pulled Inforgl GL data into OneStream over a direct REST connection, then made the application maintainable: member formulas and confirmation rules moved into a shared backend script of referenced functions, and report formatting driven by shared header/cell parameters so deliverables stay consistent system-wide.
